Kate is a visual artist from St. Helens who works across the Northwest. Her practice explores how art can be democratic and taken outside the confines of a gallery space. Kate works across many different mediums but is particularly drawn to print and performance. She is interested in language and text, stemming from her obsession with slogan t-shirts.

Kate works collaboratively in her practice often with local communities. She has worked on projects based in Parr and Eccleston and is currently working on ‘Swap Shop’ a project for young women in Parr.

Kate teaches print workshops at Bluecoat in Liverpool and works at Salford print studio Hot Bed Press.
